MR 21 Rain Gauge

Mierij Meteo MR 21 Rain gauge is used in applications were accurate measurent of quantity of rainfall is required. Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge model MR 21 can be delivered with a 0,2 mm or 0,1 mm per tip resolution. The funnel size of MR 21 Rain gauge with 400 cm² is according the WMO requirements. The housing and funnel are from Alumium and the funnel is teflon coated to avoid any drops will remain at the funnel surface. An overal 2% accuracy makes it suitable for all your professional applications.

The reed switch of the tipping bucket is easy to connect to every data acquisition system. When applied with a 50 Watt heater (model MR 21-H) the RainGauge measures hail and snow up to –10°C. Main applications are for water management systems and in weather stations.
