The MA 11 is the highest class Radiation Shield in the range of radiation shields according to the guidelines of the World Meteorological Organization. The discs are made of glass fibre reinforced polyester. The outside of the discs are coated with high reflective UV-resistant paint. The inside surface of the disc is black. This avoids any reflections of solar radiation reaching your temperature or humidity sensor.
The shape of the discs and the distance between them are optimised to provide maximum ventilation even in situations of very low wind speed. All used materials are durable and need a minimum of maintenance. The radiation shield is delivered with a mounting bracket for wall or mast mounting.
