Automatic Weather Stations

Automatic Weather Stations are used for daily meteorological and environmental monitoring. The main parameters measured are: wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, air humidity, air pressure and precipitation. Additional parameters such as solar radiation, soil temperature and leaf wetness can be added for specific applications. A data logger collects and stores the measurements from the sensors. For the transfer of the data Mierij Meteo has several solutions available, including GSM/GPRS, or the data can be displayed on a website.

For most meteorological and industrial applications Mierij Meteo has developed standard weather stations that fulfil the typical requirements of these applications. Customization is possible, and Mierij Meteo has over 25 years experience with the configuration and integration of weather stations to suit specific customer requirements.

All our weather stations are designed according to the guidelines of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
